I feel like writing when other people write. Call it inspiration. As Karen said, call it October. Call it what you will.
There was a recent tropical storm named Karen. I was jealous. I always wanted a storm named after me.
I was called in tonight for my first emergency colic. Nothing too terrible, it was mild, at least for now. They drove all the way from the Virginia Beach area. I'm just glad I'm still excited about all of this.
This past week was, well, terrible. Three tests in three days. I know I shouldn't complain, it can and probably will get a lot worse. But I was just so burned out by Thursday. Wednesday night all I could think about was how on earth I was going to stay up and study for the cardio test. And on question 25 and an hour into my cardio test I was wondering to myself how I would make it through the final 25 questions.
Well, I made it. Somehow. And the week turned around for the better.
I'm ready for fall break.
